Rock climb outdoors - no experience required.  Full and Half day courses for beginner climbers, families, and for those looking for an adventurous way to experience the beautiful Canadian Rockies.

Take your passion for climbing outside and elevate the adventure in your life. Learn all the essentials for lead climbing outdoors from the skills to pass a Lead Belay Test skills to anchors and route cleaning.

Learn the skills so you can start multi pitch climbing on your own, or level up your MP rope skills by dialling in belay techniques and learn the tricks to climb more efficiently.

Rack up, break out the high top shoes, and get ready to send it old school! Start with the basics and learn crack climbing skills along with gear placement, then take your trad skills to the next level with a Trad multi pitch course.

 

Youth Programs

Kids are born climbers. They are naturals at movements that engage all their limbs; crawling and jumping, to rolling and throwing themselves over, under, and through the playground with awe-inspiring ease and fearlessness. Let us guide that natural talent while planting the seeds for a love of being outdoors.

No experience required, all equipment provided.

 

Parent & Tot

Parents and kids get to play together outdoors in this family focused half day program! 

  • Outdoor Adventure Skills : what you need to bring, shelter building, and Leave No Trace principles

  • Parents learn to belay for top rope climbing

  • Partner checks and communication

 

Ages 6-11

Climb and play outdoors!  Learn Leave No Trace principles, build a shelter, and learn how to top rope climb outside.

  • Base camp : shelter building and LNT principles

  • belaying for top rope climbing

  • Knots and equipment checks

 

Ages 12-16

This full day teen’s program teaches skills and gives plenty of time to climb. No previous climbing experience required, but extra challenges can be provided for youth with some climbing background.

  • Top rope belay skills

  • Movement techniques

  • Experiential rappelling
