A Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement ("Waiver") must be completed by each participant (or parent/legal guardian for a minor participant) prior to participation. This is a condition of all bookings. We strongly encourage you to read through this legal document in its entirety and ensure that you understand the potential risk before signing. If you have any questions about the waiver or how we plan to manage risk, please reach out to us as soon as possible. Only proceed with your purchase if you agree with the terms of the Waiver Requirement and agree that you have had the opportunity to read the Waiver.

Waiver

This legal document describes the details of the risks, dangers, and hazards that are present in the dynamic outdoor environment, and/or associated with program activities, that you may be exposed to while participating in an event, course, or guiding program. If you have any questions about the waiver or need clarification on the nature of the trip and the associated risk, please contact us in advance of the scheduled program date or seek out legal council.

By signing the waiver you be giving up certain legal rights, including the right to sue to recover compensation for any accident, injury, loss or death through the use of equipment, environmental factors, and participation in physical activities with VHG.

Youth: Parent(s) or court-appointed legal guardian(s) must sign for any participating minor (those under 18 years of age) and agree that they and the minor are subject to all the terms of the waiver. This document does not waiver the legal rights of a youth, but rather informs all parties of the potential risks involved in the activity.

Declaration of Health

With the waiver you will be required to complete a Declaration of Health. Please provide in detail all relevant medical information including previous or recent injuries, medical conditions, allergies, and medications. Pertinent information will be shared in confidentiality with the guide or instructor and this information may be used to provide adaptations or modifications to meet your medical needs, as well as facilitate the best care possible in the case of a medical emergency.

Photo Release

By signing the Photo Release you are consenting to the use of photographs, video, and audio that show you, or your likeness, for use in VHG print, online, and video-based marketing materials, as well as other publications.
