The Association of the Bow Valley Area Rock climbers (TABVAR) was founded in 1994 by Jon Jones for the purpose of raising and distributing funds to help with the material costs incurred in the installation of fixed hardware on and maintenance of climbs in the Bow Valley and adjacent areas. Jon was the president until his retirement in 2020. His work both in fundraising and in route development were key in the Bow Valley becoming such a vibrant and well established climbing destination.

To continue supporting route development and maintenance in the Bow Valley (and beyond), TABVAR depends on donations from people like you! Please consider making a donation or participating in a partnered event/clinic.
