Please join us at the ACC’s FIRST EVER Mountain Eco Fair on April 4, 2020 - its FREE!!

The Fair aims to inspire, educate and collaborate in making everyone ’ s mountain adventures more sustainable.

A variety of community partners attending with booths. They are going to showcase their environmental/mountain sustainability efforts, have education for attendees and we a local zero waste store will have bulk soap so attendees can make their own camp suds.

Confirmed partner attendees include:

• City of Calgary — presenting on the Electric Vehicle Strategy
• Protect our Winters (POW)
• CPAWS
• Yamnuska Mountain Adventures — highlighting their Sustainability Plan & efforts
• Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative (Y2Y)
• Without Co. — A zero-waste store in Calgary
• Crag Sustainability Student Project by Logan
• Alpine Club of Canada Calgary Section

As of March 3rd we have confirmed the following additions to our partner attendees of:
• Arc'teryx Calgary
• Patagonia Calgary
• CASA
• Hear Me Raw - vegan raw food company in Canmore
• Vertical Horizons Guiding - Ashley will speak about Leave No Trace plan and efforts

All attendees are encouraged to bring a container to fill up with camp suds soap (from partner Without Co.) but there will also be zero-waste containers for purchase if they don't have one. Jars and clean bottles will do.

There will also be a door prize and all attendees can enter to win sponsored items from our vendors!
